Feeling like a creature lately? Me too. Here’s a simple way to look like you need to phone home: Throw an alien tee on with some retro-printed leggings and huge sunglasses, the more of your face they cover, the better.

And speaking of sunglasses, my face and this pair probably need a little time apart.. but I can’t stop.. I’m obsessed. They’re from Wildfox and they also come in blue, red, mint green and purple. I probably need every color.. but I think I’m gonna save and put my money towards the new Jeremy Scott sunnies or some Karen Walkers to cover even more of my face.

Happy monday space cadets.

THE NASTY GAL PARTY

When I heard NastyGal was having a fashion week party, I was down. When I heard the party was in Brooklyn, I was even more down… I’m into not having to travel far. My girl Shooka has just landed and booked in a cab over to my place, where all I did to get ready was put my glitter platforms back on. It had been a long day of shows at Lincoln, but I was ready to have a little alien fun.
I got to have drinks and dance with my favorite bloggers: JagLever, Worn Out, Feral Creature, Lust for Life and Snakes Nest.
Stop asking, keep dancing. It was really nice to finally hang with Fereal Creature in real life, Shooka and I felt like we had known her since birth (which equaled a week long streak of fashion mischief.) We hung outside for way too long/maybe spent half the party there… but since I rocked fashion week with Njoy, I had to show off all my new fancy e-cigs, #chic. Aliens with e-cigs is a new concept, but I’m like sort of into it.
It’s extra #chic because Njoy got me access to exclusive events like the Desigual runway show, the Charlotte Ronson show , the Style 369 after party, as well as The Cut’s official after party, where I showed up looking like an alien. I’d apologize for it, but I don’t think I have too.. It’s New York after all, where we do whatever the fuck we want.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK DAY 6: JOYRICH DOLL

Somehow I made it to the 6th day of fashion week, amen! (Insert praise emoji here.)  The day started out with heading to the H&M showroom with Lookbook. It was fun to play dress up with Sunny and Rachel-Marie in furs and leathers. Then Rachel and I decided to snap some photos while we were in Soho for our looks that day. After a quick juice and fruit break, I had to shoot for H&M and then get ready to head out to Style 369’s after party at the Sanctuary Hotel in Times Square. I didn’t stay for too long because I had to head back down to Soho to meet with friends for a birthday. I had an amazing Kombucha cocktail made with champagne at this old fashion speakeasy we celebrated at.

I really love this Joyrich dress Kiley Kouture send me specifically for Fashion Week. It’s from Joyrich’s newest collection and I love the fit of it. I’m a tiny bug so its hard for me to look good in dresses because I never really fill them out, but this one is super fun and youthful. I paired it with the Jeffrey Campbell’s I wore the first day of fashion week, although I did think about wearing bright pink shoes. Black and white vibes.

Fashion Week Rooftop Brunching

I took a time out from all the shows and high-heel walking of Fashion Week to have a rooftop brunch with Pavan Liqueur. I was delighted to be one of the few bloggers + celebrities who were invited to a three course meal accompanied by a variety of different cocktails made with Pavan.

I have to say the creative director of Pavan is just a gem, so petite and fashionable! She started the brunch with a toast and a little history of her liqueur. She had spent a lot of time in the south of France (like myself) and came up with the idea and name while staying there. Bridget Bardot was one of the main inspirations for the liqueur, so you know I was immediately sold. Maybe it’s just because it’s inspired by France and fashion babes, but I really enjoyed the drinks.

I also had the pleasure of sitting next to the wonderful, Kate Nash. She is such a honest soul and beautiful spirit. We talked about fans, young girls, high school, boys, salt, chips, etc.  I’m so excited for her to come back to Brooklyn in November.

At the end we were all send home with a goodie bag full of new bottles of this deliciously chic liqueur, so you know I’m about to have to have 37 cocktail parties in my backyard before it gets too cold. Oh and if you’re dreaming of the south of France now like I am, you can enter their contest to win a trip here.

H&M FALL CAMPAIGN: THE PARIS COLLECTION

Yesterday, I stopped by the H&M showroom in Soho. I was able to try on and play around in some of their new pieces from the Paris Collection. It’s absolutely divine, featuring furs, metals, metallics and leather.  You could probably guess that my favorite piece was the studded brown leather shorts. How golden are they? I’m so excited to wear them with the fur jackets I pulled from the collection, metallics and fur seem to be good together for this fall.

Anyways, make sure to check out H&M’s new Paris collection, there’s probably one or two pieces you could need to pull looks together for Fall. I can’t wait for it to start getting a little colder.

FASHION WEEK DAY 4: GET CAKE

Fashion week day four and nobody’s died yet… The fourth day of fashion week I attended the Pavan brunch in the morning at the beautiful Refinery hotel. The rooftop up there is stellar. I sat next to Kate Nash and my love, Rachel-Marie of JagLever as we sipped the new french vodka in different kinds of drinks over a three-course meal. It’s was so lovely and the designer of the vodka label is just a fashion gem! She was wearing a Pamela Love NYC star cuff, so rad aka I knew I liked her right away. Stay tuned for pictures coming to my blog of our lovely meal + Kate Nash!

Anyways after that, I ran back to Brooklyn to get dressed for the Socialyte Gala. I wasn’t feeling very dressy so I threw on my Wildfox Cake sweater and new all white platforms. The Gala was held at the box and some of the top bloggers were there including, Song of Style, StyleScrapbook and The Blonde Salad. There was a VIP blogger lounge upstairs and we all got a pair of new Express boots! SO rad!

After that, my friends and I headed back to the Hudson Hotel (one of my favorite hotels in the city! ) for a little play time. I forgot to take photos all day so we did a little shoot and as you can see, I was being really goofy.

Lots of love and more fashion week to come!

FASHION WEEK DAY 3: WE OUT HERE

New York Fashion Week day 3 and we’re still alive and running. First show of the day was Herve Leger, which was chic as hell. Black and white, especially white, is everything right now. Cut outs so fly, Herve was on his A game this season. I was feeling over it, so I threw on the new UNIF yokel shortalls and metal bustier. I hid my big sleepy eyes behind some alien wildfox shades and was feeling as dark as I was looking.

Despite my tired state, I headed to the Lookbook Refresh party after leaving the Lincoln Center. I decided it was time for my first drink of fashion week. Of course, like all good evenings that start with free champagne and manicures, it ends up back in Brooklyn on the floor with a cigarette, playing around on the streets. My home girls Shooka and Eugenie were in town so you know we had to turn up.

I’ll try to keep you guys as updated as possible, but it’s hard to post and make it to every event as well. I just got back from the H&M showroom and about to shoot a little campaign for their new Paris Fall Collection, then it’s off to the Style.com party! Fashion week doesn’t stop, and neither do I (apparently..)
